“The principal objective of the scientific conference was to enhance the free exchange of views and ideas among African scholars, researchers, development partners, development practitioners and policymakers by facilitating for open and collaborative
setting. The first article covers the remittances sent home by migrants to developing countries representing the
largest source of external finance after foreign direct investment (FDI.)The next paper seeks to advance that too many Zimbabwean children who were abandoned, abused, exploited, and neglected,
the law made them more vulnerable, as they were victimized and sustained scars that would not heal and wounds they are unable and unwilling to forget. To these
children the state was a purveyor of oppression and injustice. The third article attempts to examine the oral traditions of the Embu of Kenya.”
