“Increased economic cooperation with China carries huge potential advantages,but equally some risk and challenges. Cameroon needs to know what they are gaining and losing from the relationship with China, so as to devise a strategy to increase
the benefits and reduce the losses. The objective of this study is therefore to examine the nature of the economic relations
between China and Cameroon especially with regards to trade, investment and aid flows.
This will entail examining the size, composition (or structure) and the significance of the various flows, and identifying and evaluating the implications for the relevant stakeholders in Cameroon.”
