“This paper aims to contribute to the search for an appropriate policy framework by making available information on the living and working conditions of professionals in the SSA countries. The study focuses on one set of professionals – economists in Ethiopia. While economists are singled out for in-depth study, the resulting picture is similar for all professionals in the country. “
