It is intended to be mainly illustrative of certain theoretical principles and their application in concrete situations and to complement the more purely theoretical companion paper by Mr du Pisanie. A major theme of the paper will be a comparison of dependency positions of the SA homeland areas (HL’s) and the other Southern African States, mainly the BLS countries.”
