This briefing examines the views of citizens in Zimbabwe with regard to empowerment. The best way to distribute wealth and resources between a colonizing minority and indigenous majority has always been problematic. Empowerment is therefore viewed as a policy imperative in order to remedy historical injustices and economic inequalities. However the Zimbabwean citizens are not in favour of business takeovers as an empowerment strategy, but see job creation as a better way of empowerment.
