Goldberg R. Chimonyo is Director of Research at the Center for Research and Development. Based at Africa University (Zimbabwe), Goldberg teaches in the Geography and Environmental studies department (Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences). He teaches among other courses, Introduction to Quantitative Methods in Geography and Environmental Studies, Introduction to Environmental Systems, Environmental Hazards and Human Response, and Environmental Management and Economics.
His research interests include Environmental Management, rural and community development as well as Land and water rights. Notable works include Integration of water and land policies in the SADC for agricultural development, The impact of the Land Reform process on the economy of Zimbabwe and The Effects of Water and Gender on Food Security in Gwanda District.
