Dr Michael Gibb (PhD)
is the campaign leader for conflict resources at Global Witness, an
international NGO that works to break the links between conflict, human rights
abuses, and the trade and extraction of natural resources. He specialises in the
role mineral supply chains play in financing conflict and fragility across a
range of countries, and has previously worked to document human rights abuses
in Libya, Iraq, the Caucasus and Kenya.
