Naila Salihu is a Program and Research officer at the Kofi Annan International Peacekeeping Training Center (KAIPTC). She holds a Master of Philosophy Degree (International Affairs), from the Legon Center for International Affairs, University of Ghana. Her research interests are in peace and security in Africa, particularly conflict analysis, peacekeeping, civilian protection, governance, conflict prevention, conflict management, and human security. She has authored and co-authored several book chapters, and articles on conflict, peace and security in Africa.
