Thulani Banda is a researcher at the Zambia Institute for Policy Analysis and Research (ZIPAR), a semi-autonomous think-tank under the Ministry of Finance. He used to work at the Central Statistical Office (CSO), as an Intern Statistician in the National Accounts Division.
His research interests lie in monetary policy, economic growth, exchange rate volatility, and financial stability. Has written newspaper articles on exchange rate volatility, GDP measurement and co-authored ZIPAR’s weekly releases of the Exchange Rate Volatility Index.
