“Africa is generally positive about its partners, whether they are emerging or traditional lenders. The paper demonstrates the positive contributions of the BRICS. However, unless these BRICS become more transparent and release comparable data on their ODA allocation, there will always be scepticism on the development outcomes of their aid. Both emerging and traditional lenders should now work towards for filling the promise made at the Busan High Level forum in 2011.”
