The Corona virus has left humanity helpless and helpless to deal with it. States reacted to it in dispersed ranks, without any coordination, and the International organizations have limited themselves to alerting and inciting states to take the necessary measures to deal with the pandemic. Although the UN Secretary General was among the first to “declare war” on the virus, the Security Council was conspicuous by its absence, whereas previously it had adopted
resolutions calling HIV and Ebola threats to international peace and security. This crisis is a reminder of the need for a global response to global health crises./ Le virus Corona a laissé l’humanité désarmée et impuissante à y faire face. Les Etats y ont réagi en rangs dispersés, sans aucune coordination, et les Organisations internationales se sont limitées à alerter les Etats et à les inciter à prendre les mesures nécessaires pour faire face à la pandémie. Si le Secrétaire général de l’ONU a été parmi les premiers à “déclarer la guerre” a ce virus, le Conseil de Sécurité a brillé par son absence, alors qu’auparavant, il avait adopté des résolutions qualifiant le VIH et Ebola de menaces à la paix et à la sécurité
