The purpose of this contribution is to empirically analyze the determinants of capital raised by microfinance Institutions in the banking sector. The approach adopted is as follows. Based on statistics gathered in the field, the researchers tried to model the refinancing relationship in order to validate the elements gathered during discussions with managers and MFIs. The focus is on whether the empirical results are in line with the analysis made in the literature on the determinants of bank refinancing of Micro finance Institutions. / L’objet

du
secteur
bancaire.
La
démarche
que
nous
adoptons
est
la
suivante.
A
partir
de
statistiques
collectées
sur
le
terrain,
nous
tentons
ici
de
modéliser
la
relation
de
refinancement,
afin
de
valider
les
éléments
recueillis
lors
de
nos
discussions
avec
les
responsables
de
banques
et
d’IMF.
Nous
cherchons
surtout
à
voir
si
les
résultats
empiriques
sont
en
adéquation
avec l’analyse
faite
dans
la
littérature
sur
les
déterminants
du
refinancement
bancaire
des
IMF.
