The objectives therefore are to monitor the country’s progress towards good governance, through examination of political representiveness, institutional effectiveness and economic management. The emphasis is on determining whether there has been enhancement for the participation of the private sector and civil society in economic, political and social governance. The study aims at comparative monitoring and evaluation of good governance.”
