Abel Abate Demissie and Dr Mehari Taddele Maru insist that should Sudan People’s Liberation Movement (SPLM) succeed in ending the current civil war in South Sudan, they would perform an important service to the people of this country. This would result in revitalizing the role of its collective leadership and decision-making, and transforms itself into a popular, democratic movement that appeals to its political rivals and the general population with the simple message of unity and equality.
