The voting by the independent states of Africa in the United Nations General Assembly Session concerning the Arab-Israeli conflict shows interesting differences and gives rise to some significant observations. This paper attempts to throw some light on the way Africa voted by discussing the resolutions taken and voting that was placed. The author continues to discuss the voting stance of some of the African nations and comes to the conclusion that Israel has won a diplomatic battle.
