the Chairpersons’ Summary of the 2012 experts’ workshop on ‘Progress on Securing Africa’s Nuclear Resources’ referred to above. The summary, prepared by the organisers, provides an overview of the issues and themes discussed at the workshop, as well as the outcomes, recommendations and a proposed way forward. This booklet also includes two annexures on the status of conventions and treaties related to nuclear security in Africa as well as a select list of conventions, protocols, documents and initiatives regarding nuclear security.”
