Recent Developments in the Sanctions Debate: Foreign Attacks and South African Responses

This paper deals with sanctions against South Africa. In the field of international relations the pressure from sanctions is targeting policy changes. A call for sanctions against South Africa did not have the desired effect, however the economic cost, unemployment levels and standard of living was affected by these sanctions. The cost to South Africa’s economic trade partners are discussed.
