The content of this Policy Brief comprises the aforementioned DIRCO-IJR Policy Workshop, and it discusses the strategies that governmental, inter-governmental
and civil society institutions can adopt and implement to more effectively promote and consolidate regional reconciliation in Africa. The Policy Brief argues that reconciliation can in fact be operationalised across borders – in other words, regionally. It also discusses the types of process and infrastructure for peace
that could be used or established to achieve
regional reconciliation.
