Peter Henshaw takes a critical look at the reasons for South Africa’s return to the Commonwealth. South Africa was excluded from the Commonwealth in 1961 and treated with hostility since then. He also continues to describe the expansion of the Commonwealth to include other British colonies. He discusses the advantages for South Africa if the Commonwealth is rejoined.
