Successful Communication Strategies Used to Promote COVID-19 Vaccine Uptake: Lessons from Low- and Middle-income Countries

Concerns regarding vaccine safety and effectiveness, non-reliable information, religious and cultural reasons are associated with low vaccination. Health promotion activities and/or messages, incentives, and endorsements are necessary to achieve broader uptake of the vaccine. Among others approaches, there is need for segmentation of the COVID-19 vaccine market and strategic approach to vaccine communication.
