The second paper by Dr. Waswa of Kenyatta University was entitled The Role of Research and Education in Health Delivery System in Kenya. It argues that research is a vital tool for health and development. The paper contends that health research provides basic information on the state of health and disease in the population.The third paper by Prof. Kitula King’ei of Kenyatta University en-titled Language in Social Research in Africa in the 21st Century contends that Africa’s development in the next millennium will be research driven.”
