responsibilities of civilians, the police and the miltary in peacekeeping in Africa.
The objectives of the conference were to:
Understand the operations of ACoC and the role it can play in harmonising civilian, police and military functions in order to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness
of African PSOs. Deliberate on best practice to enhance efficiency in PSOs. Propose initiatives to enhance ACoC’s effectiveness in consolidating its peace support activities.”
