Undoubtedly, 2018 marks a turning point in the evolution of the global economy. Europe, after having started to emerge from the crisis in 2017, could enter a phase of sustainable expansion thanks to a structural increase in industrial production, and the reformist and pro-European project led by the Franco-German couple. Asia, on the other hand, confirms its position as an essential engine of the global economy, with three countries from 2018 in the top 5 Nations (China, Japan and India). These developments are transforming the economic world system, and question Moroccans, North Africans, and Africans about their ability to negotiate with this changing environment. / 2018 marque incontestablement un tournant dans l’évolution de l’économie mondiale. L’Europe, après avoir amorcé une sortie de crise en 2017, pourrait entrer dans une phase d’expansion durable notamment grâce à une augmentation structurelle de la production industrielle, et au projet réformiste et pro-européen porté par le couple franco-allemand. L’ Asie, elle, confirme sa position de moteur incontournable de l’économie mondiale, avec trois pays passant en 2018 dans le top 5 des Nations (Chine, Japon et Inde). Ces évolutions transforment le système économique mondial, et nous interrogent, nous Marocains, Maghrébins, et Africains, sur notre capacité à négocier avec cet environnement en mutation.
