Dieudonné Tshiyoyo

Dieudonné Tshiyoyo is currently Manager of the Elections and Political Processes Department of EISA (Electoral Institute for the Sustainability of Democracy in Africa). Before joining EISA in May 2004, he was lecturer at the Department of Political and Administrative Studies, University of Kinshasa in the DR Congo. From August 2008 to January 2010, he was EISA Country Representative in Cote d’Ivoire, based in Abidjan. He is a political scientist with several years working experience in Africa, with established theoretical and practical expertise in democratic governance and election issues. He has demonstrated ability in programme conception, design, planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation; and experience in working with government institutions, continental and international organizations.  Further, he has an academic and research background, coupled with extensive experience in teaching, facilitation and training; and an ability to work with people of different backgrounds and cultures. He is fluent in English and French; and has travelled extensively throughout Africa and the world.  Mr. Tshiyoyo is a fully accredited BRIDGE Facilitator (Building Resources in Democracy, Governance and Elections).
