[The translated English title of this document: Convergence of Cameroonian Port Spaces: Modeling Trial of an Economic Zone Volume 1.] This study focuses on the search for an optimal strategic orientation ensuring, on the one hand, the collective competitiveness of existing infrastructures (efficient mode of operation and promotion of complementarity) and, on the other hand, the optimal articulation with the objectives of national economic development and the hinterland. Another focus of this work, which is an innovation for Cameroon, is to introduce the concept of asset management into economic governance. A concept now at the heart of the Sustainable Development issue. To approach the contours of the conceptual subject by remaining faithful to its approach in three steps, to evaluate, to propose to do something and to innovate. The study is structured around 4 chapters. Chapter 1 presents the research methodology and a review of the concepts and tools used, the second chapter outlines an analysis, using the tools used, of the life cycle of so-called first generation infrastructures in Cameroon. Chapter 3 attempts an optimization assessment in the specific case of port infrastructure, while the last chapter presents a concrete proposal for operationalizing the optimization model within the framework of a mixed and integrated economic zone. / Ainsi, cette étude fait un focus sur la recherche d’une orientation stratégique optimale garantissant d’une part, la compétitivité collective des infrastructures existantes (efficacité du mode d’exploitation et promotion de la complémentarité) et d’autre part, l’articulation optimale avec les objectifs de développement économique national et de l’hinterland. Un autre centre d’intérêt de ce travail et qui constitue en cela une innovation en ce qui concerne le Cameroun, est d’introduire la notion de la gestion patrimoniale dans la gouvernance économique. Un concept désormais au cœur de la problématique du développement durable. Pour aborder les contours du sujet conceptuel en restant fidèle à sa démarche en 03 temps : Evaluer-Proposer-Innover, l’étude s’articule autour de 4 chapitres. Le chapitre 1 qui présente la méthodologie de recherche et une revue des concepts et outils utilisés, le second chapitre quant à lui esquisse une analyse, à l’aide des outils exploités, du cycle de vie des infrastructures dites de première génération au Cameroun. Le chapitre 3 tente une évaluation d’optimisation dans le cas spécifique des infrastructures portuaires tandis que le dernier chapitre présente une proposition concrète d’opérationnalisation du modèle d’optimisation dans le cadre d’une zone économique mixte et intégrée.
